Al Serhal- Executive Director

Al began serving as Executive Director for Hippo Valley Christian Mission in August of 2014, and has made more than 25 trips to Zimbabwe.  He was one of the original board members of HVCM, and has a great love for both the people of Zimbabwe and the work being done by HVCM.  He has been a wonderful addition to the mission and continues to further the work of the Kingdom in Zimbabwe. Al is available to speak to your missions committee or congregation.

Patty Serhal - Communications Director

Patty is the wife of Al Serhal. She is the mission's communication's director and a liaison to Central Africa Christian College.

Rachel Johnson - Director of Living proof program

Rachel is from nearby Huntington, WV and is a 2020 graduate of Marshall University. She is a member of New Covenant Christian Church and travels with her friends at Laurel Chapel Christian Church (London, KY) often, assisting in the ministry at family camps and youth camps. Boomer Cowan - Director of U.S. Operations

As Director of U.S. Operations, Boomer comes to us with a vast array of skills, talents, interests, and expertise in a wide range of areas, including multimedia, network and communication systems and even construction. Boomer has a great heart for ministry and missions, and will be involving himself in every aspect of HVCM from the ground up.

mark Coffey - CACC Field rep

Mark will serve as a field rep, specifically for Central Africa Christian College. Mark and Pam look forward to getting to know the CACC supporting churches and donors and are available to come to your church for updates. Mark has been a Preacher for 50 years, serving congregations in Virginia, Indiana and other places. He is the son of missionaries, growing up in southern Italy. He is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian College with the BA - 1977; MA - 1992. He serves on the board of Mid-Atlantic Christian University. He and Pam have 2 (twin) sons and 8 grandchildren.

Dan hudson- director of development for chiredzi Christian children’s village

After several visits to Zimbabwe and serving on the HVCM mission board, Dan is fundraising for the village in addition to being the lead Minister at the Pathway Church in Johnston, IA.
