Short-Term Projects:

If you have a passion or a gift, there is most likely a way to plug it into our ministry at Hippo Valley Christian Mission. Here are just a few ways that groups and individuals have found to get involved in the past.


CONSTRUCTION/PAINTING/REPAIR
Many groups have helped build church buildings, school buildings and houses at the orphanage.  If a team has experienced builders, there is often a project that can use their expertise.  Building repair and painting is always needed.

EVANGELISM
Revivals and youth revivals continue to be very successful in Zimbabwe, and it is possible your team could be involved in leading some evangelistic services.

PREACHER TRAINING/SEMINARS
Each year at the end of February, we help host a large gathering of preachers in Harare called the Zimbabwe Preaching Summit, and experienced preachers and Bible College teachers are always needed for this event. We also host the Chaplain's conference for Living Proof training. If you are interested in either of these fields, please contact us.

CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
There is always work to be done on the various buildings at Chiredzi Christian Children's Village. Our orphans enjoy spending time with, teaching, and playing games with our American teams.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS
With many schools and churches that work in unison, it is easy for us to host a VBS attended by hundreds of children, and is a wonderful opportunity to teach Christ, and share love with the young people of Zimbabwe. The Adults enjoy it too!
